I was wondering about that one too a bit a long time ago. Other than
getting your POS-PC being an 24h/7d online web-server at the same time
and using an inventory system for your POS that uses the MV product.asc
or inventory.asc file as the POS-database, I could not imagine how that
would be done. (May be mirroring on an hourly basis your inventory
database to the online mv/web-server and upgrading the product.asc
file hourly. Or if your in-store POS-PC is already the minivend/web
server online, then finding a way to read your inventory database from
your POS-program into MySQL constantly and use MV with MySQL.
But I am a non-techie, so I ask humbly the experts for some more obvious
solutions than my above puppy-dreams. 8-)
