The POS system would have to be reachable via TCP/IP 24x7
If it's in the same shop as the MV server this is no problem.
The POS system needs to be running an SQL database.
If it is then just tell MV to use it in your catalog.cfg file. See
the example Database directives for various SQL databases and change
localhost to suit.
Most POS systems do a *lot* more than just insert order master and
detail records and update inventory when you finalize a transaction.
You'll need to mirror everything it does or risk the integrity of
the POS database.
