Charlie... I think you're in need of medication and a medal. I have just
changed my Windows background setting to Blue, and now I can relate to your
"tired old eyes" - mine are getting more tired by the second! :)

In 5 years of building websites, this is the first time I have come across
this problem - thanks. I presume the fix is inserting a BGCOLOR tag within
the selection box code - am off to try it although I haven't seen it before.

But Charlie... what colour is your text set at usually? These selection
boxes don't have any colour tags in them, which means they should default
to your normal settings.
