Tim -

You may have already tried this, but: set the permissions on the cgi file 
which bears you catalog name to 755.  I have to do this every time I do a 
3.1x install on an ISP's server.  Not doing it always results in an error 
500 (internal server error) when trying to access the catalog from a browser.
