The lack of difference between calling 'simple' and 'simple.cgi' is a
function available in Apache 1.3.9. It is very good about "guessing" what
it thinks you want, if a request is 404 it will try possible 200
variations. :-)

So anyways, the important things are that the Minivend server is run by
your minivend user, the tlink/vlink must be owned by your minivend user and
permissioned as 4755 (setuid bit on). You may want to double check the
install tree's file permissions as well.
