[mv] Adding the same product code twice with different modifiers

I've been searching the documentation and have been
unable to find a way to add multiple entries of the
same product code with different modifiers.
  Meaning if I have a T shirt that is offered in sizes
S to Large and colors Red, Yellow and Green...I need a
way to add the same t-shirt to the shopping basket as
a seperate item.  The default behaviour seems to
simply replace the first entry of the product code
with the new entry.  How can I have minivend treat a
change in the size or color as a new item in the cart?
