Global configuration directives go to the interchange.cfg file which is common for all catalogs running on servers started from the same Interchange installation directory (ICROOT). Catalog-specific configuration directives go to catalog.cfg in the catalog directory (CATROOT).

I think he means that the above should read "interchange.cfg" instead
of "catalogs.cfg", which is mis-spelled anyway.

William: Restricting the width of your lines to 75 characters or less
would help your ----^^^^ point where you probably intended. All docs
contributions are welcome anyway. We'll take whatever we can get. :-)

Davor: You mentioned paths. In the referred-to section (and also in
the introduction), the text explains about the "(ICROOT)" and "(CATROOT)"
tokens. Perhaps it would be a good idea to extend that to the rest of
the text and refer to the files as "(ICROOT)/interchange.cfg" or
"interchange.cfg (in the CATROOT directory)", instead of the
implementation-specific "/etc/interchange/interchange.cfg".
