Jerry,

    The file that makecat placed in your cgi-bin is a program that
communicates with the daemon and goes to CAT_ROOT/PAGES to find the
specified files.  Files that are interpreted by Interchange sit outside of
normal HTML space so that they are parsed before they are sent back to the
browser.
