I'd like to know (since there has to be a reasonable explanation), 
why a user can install interchange from RPM and have countless 
problems but turn around and install the source and all the problems 
go away.

It seems when you spend 1-3 hours trying to help someone fix a 
"undefinied catalog" and you give up all hope and ask the question of 
"did you install from RPM" and they say yes. you tell them to 
reinstall using the source, and once that is done, the problems go 
away. I don't understand it. It always seems that when you've tried 
all possible troubleshooting techniques it always seems to come down 
to the RPM.

And when people install from RPM and setup the demo, are they not 
shown the Username and password (Interchange   pass) for the admin 
interface. That seems to be another FAQ
