I'd like to know (since there has to be a reasonable explanation),
why a user can install interchange from RPM and have countless
problems but turn around and install the source and all the problems
go away.
It seems when you spend 1-3 hours trying to help someone fix a
"undefinied catalog" and you give up all hope and ask the question of
"did you install from RPM" and they say yes. you tell them to
reinstall using the source, and once that is done, the problems go
away. I don't understand it. It always seems that when you've tried
all possible troubleshooting techniques it always seems to come down
to the RPM.
And when people install from RPM and setup the demo, are they not
shown the Username and password (Interchange pass) for the admin
interface. That seems to be another FAQ
Just curious.
