[ic] mac os x and Interchange

Hi

Running 4.8.1 here all ok on my G4-350 - mode is Unix (default) and I 
did not log-in as root  installed all ok. Just answered the locations 
with the correct OS X paths and all was well.

Haven't upgraded to 4.8.3 as yet - time is short:)
