my $fn = escape_chars($route->{track});

Makes it so I can't do this anymore:
Route log       track           '|/usr/local/apache/bin/rotatelogs 
/usr/local/apache/logs/__DOMAIN_NAME__-elf_log 86400'

Is there another way to PIPE the orders to an external command?
