There are a few options:
1. You can try to split the file to 10 or 20 parts and import them one after
another (update).
2. you can use ODBC driver (if working from windows)
3. pgAdminII is a great program with an import option from tab delimited
files (again windows)
4. I'm not shore but maybe it is possible to do a copy from psql to an
external tab delimited file.
