Odd... I modified the search page to save the initial CGI into SCRATCH
variables and then the search to only use the SCRATCH variables rather
than the earlier combination of CGI and SCRATCH. Now, when I hit the
first page on the search, it is still good but when I click on pages 2,
3 or Next, it repeats the same page.

Granted, the URL's for those links are very long, but I see nothing that
would indicate any 'stepping' for the next in sequence... Have I got
something in the original search screwed up too which is messing with
the more-list?
