[ic] Odd Cookie Problem

For some reason, my IC install has been acting strange.  At first, I 
noticed that the session id no longer showed up in the URL.  So I tried 
putting items in my shopping cart, which worked fine, until I clicked on 
another product.  When I clicked ANY link (in my domain) the cart emptied 
itself.  If I bought one item and tried to checkout, it did the 
same.  After reading the archives, I found that IC will use cookies if it 
can and resort to session id's when it can't.  So I disabled cookies in my 
browser, and now it works perfectly.  So, how do I disable cookies and use 
only session ids?
