This type of operation is not supported by Interchange.

If your web host is going to keep the interchange.cfg file to themselves,
then they need to support you. We cannot read minds.

We *used* to try and support people, but then there became too many
people with too many lazy and clueless hosting companies, almost
invariably including Interchange with CPANEL.

I suggest you get another hosting company. Failing that, you should
probably stop using Interchange, as operating under CPANEL is a recipe
for disaster without good tech support from your host.
