It is easy to do:

&calc=<<EOF
	delete $CGI->{tmp_result};
	return $CGI->{tmp_result} = 1 if $good;
	return if $bad;
EOF
tmp_result=mandatory Your calc failed!

Though obviously it would be much cleaner if we could do it another
way.

I think in the next version of IC I will put a new primitive in:

    &version=4.9

Then we will change the semantics for calc and perl when that is
in force.
