(You've probably already got the answer.)

Your provider should be able to set up a script that you can run:

restart.interchange:
su interch /usr/local/interchange/bin/interchange -r

Any time that you make changes you should always click on 'apply changes'
and restart interchange.

A lot of the time it is not needed, but it won't hurt and then you are sure
that the changes have been incorporated.
