I basically backed myself into figuring this out relying on examples and
and mysqltool. I used the simple not matrix option. I couldn't set the
o_enable bit via mysqltool initially, but just tried again and it
worked....who knows.
Anyway after creating the option table record via the admin tool I set the
following
values via mysqltool:

o_label size
o_value tag1=string, tag2=string The comma doesn't show
up via admin
price tag1=price1, tag2=price2 More strings and prices
allowed of course
o_widget checkbox I want customer to
be able to purchase more then one at a time
sku This is set to productSKU-size in my case but haven't figured
that out completely.

The price displayed is based in the above mentioned 'tag' price and the base
product price.
e.g. products.price=10.00 options.price=5.00 then displayed price is
15.00, or
products.price=10.00 options.price=-5.00 then displayed price is
5.00

This was late last night I was playing with this. I just looked at it some
more and I see if you use the matrix
option is establishes multiple products for the inventory but doesn't seem to
link those new option products
back to the base product total. That could be because I messed up the options
table. So it seems
as if I use the simple option I can utilize widget=checkbox but then those are
a single products in the
inventory table, or I use matrix, creating multiple products for inventory but
not with a checkbox..
I now believe it is there but I haven't quite figured it all out.....

I hope that helps. I will be back at it soon and will post results if this is

beneficial to others.
