[ic] PGP error and reference was 'backup'

Hi

I can't really think about upgrading until next October (long story). I am
on 4.8.3. I was searching the archive and found alot of people had an error:

search error: your search file a valid database reference, was 'backup'.

It is a UI edit thing. I read a post by Mike Heins saying it was fixed and
would be OK in the next release (then to be 4.8.3). Was the problem bigger?
I get this in all my catalogs and was wondering if there was a "new" fix


Also, I get:

PGP failed with status 131072:

I don't use, and don't forsee using PGP. How would I get rid of this error?
The only people in the archives that get this error, are people who ARE
using PGP, and having problems. I tried commenting the references to PGP in
my Order Routes, but nada. Where else does PGP come into play?
