[ic] options error

I am getting the following error when trying to use the options feature of
interchange. I am using RH 8.0, interchange 4.8.7. I have the GDDB
database set. I am not a programer, so I do not know where to look for the
"where" object method on line 672 of scan.pm. Any help in getting this
resolved would be deeply appreciated.
