[ic] Really need some help

I have been hoping to get a response and have heard nothing in regards 
to a critical failure in interchange 5.10.0

previous topic: Interchange failure to check for field length


Interchange failed to check string lengths before truing to up the 
database, causing a false order generation. The order receipt was sent 
but the entire database is corrupted. The order number was saved, 
orderline was generated but the shipping method and costs were not 
saved, the transactions database has no customer information except for 
the userid, item, and order number. everything else has a , or is blank 
except the transaction date.

The cause of this was a company name that exceeded the 64 char limit.

I am not able to update the information in admin, can not even modify 
using spreadsheet method.


Why am I not able to correct this using the editor?

Is there a file missing?


Any suggestions would be appreciated.
