The Sybase ASE 11.0.3.3 is packaged along with the Redhat 5.2 Linux
Distrubution, you can also get it from a redhat ftp mirror (
ftp://ftp.tu-chemnitz.de/pub/linux/redhat-ftp/sybase/ ) as rpm.
To get the whole thing working you need the DBI perl module and the
DBD::Sybase, http://www.mbay.net/~mpeppler/ ( Don't forget to install
the Sybase Open Client Libraries ). Create a minivend Database and set
the database type in catalog.cfg to DBI:Sybase:your sybase server
instead of TAB. Works just fine 8-)) !!
