Hi Greg,
if you choose another language e.g. german, you need this [L] to
support the german people. How to use?
In your locale.asc, you have this from the demo shop:
code en_US de_DE fr_FR
Order this fine accessory Bestellen Sie dieses feine Zusatzgerät Commandez cet fin accessoire
The Art Store Home Page Die Kunst-Boutique La boutique d'Art
You can add something like
Hello Hallo Allo
into the locale.asc file.
If you use a line like
[L]Hello[/L] anywhere in your minivend page and the locale is us or en,
you get
Hello
in your page. If you or a visitor choose another language (e.g.
german), you get
Hallo
in your page. The [L]...[/L] tag tells minivend :"Translate all between
[L] and [/L], if there are another language in the database locale.asc!"
Regards,
Joachim
