Oh yeah. Mysql requires key fields to have a not null property and
minivend doesn't add this in the create statement. I believe I saw
a post recently where someone had gotten around this by changing "code"
to a char instead of an int. Try searching the archives for not null

Since the minivend user has permissions I don't know what might be wrong
other than having NoImport products in your catalog.cfg. I just took a look
and it's commented out in the simple/catalog.cfg so you would have had
to uncomment it.

I do use NoImport so I can't help beyond that but I can say that
MV will populate a table for you, that's why I always define NoImport :)
Kind of ugly to loose a table cause you decide to edit products.asc.
Thank g-d for backups and NoImport.
