First of all I learn new stuff about minivend everyday. It has been a
very cool thing to learn.

I do believe you can set whatever value you want to be the shipping.
I just recently was able to fix my overseas shipping.

Since I use a default uspg and turned off all the rest of the database I
just use shipping.asc

But I did not see until recently I could do this.
I deleted the surf_E and kept the air_E for the UK, in the country.asc.
(since most of my overseas orders have been coming from there)

Then I just added like this to my shipping.asc

air_E European Shipping weight 0 0 e Nothing to ship
air_E European Shipping weight 0 3 25
air_E European Shipping weight 3 7 28
air_E European Shipping weight 7 10 30
air_E European Shipping weight 10 15 35
air_E European Shipping weight 15 20 40
air_E European Shipping weight 20 100 45

I could have added
camel  By Camel  weight   0 0 e Nothing to ship
camel    etc.....
As long as I defined the camel as assigned to a country or area to ship
to.

i remember seeing something about the AK and HI thing,


I believe if you look in the "dreaded" (my own words) mail list search
under keywords for your problem it is there. I remember seeing it.
