[mv] flycat - setup, no default access

Greeting all, I have gone through the FAQ's and see where others have
had problems on initial setup of flycat. The default username and
password don't work.... I noticed the post of the problem several times
but did not note any responces.
The simple catalog works but I wanted to test drive the flycat too.
The config file for the flycat catalog says it is to use the asc files....
and in the userdb.asc the flycat / pass is there.
Can anyone give me a clue ?
