[mv] no http, please?
****** message to minivend-users from Ron Mansolino <rmsolino@netaxs.com> ******
I spent all day looking through the mail archives, and couldn't figure this
out. I am running stronghold, but no matter what I munge, minivend keeps
generating http:// method urls, instead of https:// So naturally, things
hang because there's no minivend/cgi on port 80.
I did a s/http:\/\//https:\/\//g on minivend and makecat, which fixes most
of it, but not all. and it's a kludge. There has to be a better way, eh?
Is there a "Big Picture" (ala Qmail) that I'm not seeing?
Oh, and on a Solaris (well, uname sez it's a
SunOS foo 5.6 Generic_105181-14 sun4m sparc SUNW,SPARCstation-20)
su barks about the order of arguments, I have to start it with:
su minivend -c "/home/minivend/bin/minivend -serve"
