If you are in the US, the first thing is to be able to accept credit cards
in the first place. To do this, you need to set up a Merchant Account with
your company's bank. While you are setting this up, (or if you already
have one) ask them if they have an agreement with a company like CyberCash
or Authorize.Net to clear credit cards online. If they don't, then you'll
have to encrypt the credit card numbers, and enter them manually on your
credit card terminal.
