I happened to look at the RedHat 6.1 Professional Edition box (includes
the Apache SSL server with 128-bit encryption) yesterday at CompUSA.
In their label on the back they warned not only saying that it is illegal
to export this software to any other country outside the U.S., but also to
any other _NATIONAL_.
So, next time you go software shopping at CompUSA take your U.S. passport
- don't leave home without it - you never know who the cashier thinks YOU
are. 8-)
I wonder how the European ISPs are being controlled or observed about
them running server using 128-bit encryption. I smuggled already twice
a box to Germany and am still not yet in prison. 8-)
