[mv] [item-code] quick question

My products database (mysql) schema has both 'row' and 'code' defined in
its schema:
- 'row' is the first field
- 'code' is the 7th field

For some strange reason, if I refer to [item-code] minivend shows the
'row' value, and not the 'code' value. I have to use an [sql] ... [/sql]
to get to the value of the 'code'.

Does 'code' need to be the first colomn in my schema?
