[mv] time stamps in userdb -mv4

****** message to minivend-users from "Michael Schwartz" <michael@panamacom.com> ******

Hi all...
Running MV4

I have two forms to create an account,
the first part saves all the user personal data,
the second part asks for a login name, and password...works great.

I want to set up a time stamp in the userdb (at registration).
I tried:

[seti timestamp]
[tag time]%s[/tag]
[/seti]

and then a <input type=hidden name=timer value="[scratch timestamp]">
The weird thing about this is that userdb creates an account using as code
the "timestamp", and it adds up the user login name, but not in column
code...so i guess this is not the way to do it.

In order to do some more testing, i tried a: <input type=hidden
name=timestamp value="testing">
and it worked great...adding the word "testing" to column "timestamp" in
userdb.
I read the mailing lists and docs...nothing....I also noticed that there is
a column "mod_time" in userdb, but i dont really know how it works....there
is a line in catalog.cfg:
UserDB default time_field mod_time

but i get a "current" in column mod_time in userdb.
Any suggestions??
