We always clone them.

Remove session*.  
add to minivend.cfg
edit catalog.cfg.
restart

Check your permissions.  Did you cp -a or tar?
Odds are it's permissions since you would not even
get missing if it couldn't find minivend or minivend
could not find the catalog.
