Re: [mv] How to use/search fields from different databse files ?

****** message to minivend-users from "Tal Hart (TelNET)" <tal@telnet.co.il> ******

Thanks for the reply,
I use MV 4.01,
and the situation is that i am not searching for different products in 3
difefrent databases....
The same Product is split into 3 different databases,
For instance :
I have a DB called 'Specials' Which I generate and it includes a Product ID
, and a special price for this week only.

Now , i would like to make a search (one line search)
for all of this week's specials.

The results should be the list of these 10 items,
sorted by lets say category, with their descriptions...

The 'special' DB only contain the Prod ID and special Price...
The category is a field within the products DB,
and the Description, is a field in the 'desc' DB.

All field correspond to the same Prod' ID...

Would the previous reply be apropriate for this situation ?

Tal.
