} What version(s) are affected? I recently installed 4.03 and I don't see
} the anomaly. minivend.cfg is located in my minivend root and has the entry
} for the installed catalog. The only cfg file in mvend/etc is

Ed, I think this is in reference to the RPM package only. It apparent
puts files in standard locations, including using /etc for config files
(not the same as ~mvend/etc).

} Could we have a little more detail about this issue. I would also like to

I think this would be a good idea, as well. That way, when we run across
an issue, we can check the web page first to see if there's a known
issue and any known work-arounds.

As a side note: Mike, have you thought about using (or are you using) a bug
tracking system of any kind? I know there are several packages out
there to do this. An always uptodate web page could be built from the
bug db if you didn't want to make the bug db itself available for read
access. If you're interested in something like this, let me know offline
and I'll do a current check and give you feedback and [my] suggestions
(it's been awhile since I looked at this).
