What is [LC]? I've grep for this and can find LC_COLLATE only!
Regarding leftside...
look into your catalog.cfg file and you will notice a string like
"<leftside". This file is stored into RAM to get better performance. If
it works well in your index.html, maybe you have forget to restart your
shop, because any changes in your catalog.cfg file has any effect, if
you restart or reconfig your catalog.
