yes and no.  We just clone catalogs and never touch makecat.  I did
try once to install minivend straight from CPAN just to see what happened.
Purely experimental and it almost worked.  :-)

Send it along if you can find it and we'll take a cut at it.  We only do
linux so we'll only be able to take it so far.
