[mv] What's wrong with my search function?

****** message to minivend-users from Ryan Waldron <rew@erebor.com> ******

Hi, all. I'm running MV4.03 on a Linux 6.1 box. I use MySQL 3.22.32 as
the backend.

I have been struggling with a variety of issues with this catalog for some
time. Most of it has been just education on my part, getting my head
around the paradigm that MV uses. But there have been a few bugs along the
way. :)

Anyway, the shop I've been working on is up and running now
(http://www.billsproshop.com), but we're having several problems.

The one I'm looking to solve right now is why my search function doesn't
work properly.
If I go to

http://www.billsproshop.com/proshop.cgi/srchform.html

and search for something like "drivers" (it's a golf equipment shop), I get
no results back. In fact, at the moment it won't even accept the search
button.

For a while, I would get results back that were broken and very old, from
way back before I converted to MySQL. It's like the search form is somehow
trying to get results from something other than the MySQL tables where the
products are stored.

Can anyone shed any light on how to make my search form work? No comment
too insulting, no help too basic... :)

Thanks!
