My aim was to have an up-and-running store relatively quickly.  Thanks for 
your reply, cfm, and also to Dan for his.  I have no Telnet experience (my 
webhost, ValueWeb,  doesn't allow it) so think this program is over my head.  

At the risk of being tacky, could anyone recommend a simple program?  I was 
looking for security in taking credit card information, with a shopping cart 
as a little bonus.  As long as I have the former, I can live without the 
latter (does it really matter if a customer jots down a code number and price 
and enters it in a form?  They do so all the time with print catalogs.  
Expert opinion?), so email encryption could work, I suppose.
