Re: [mv] Woes coming to an end...
****** message to minivend-users from "'Wes Zabloudil" <wesz@concentric.net> ******
Hi Alexander,
Well I am almost in the same boat as you are.
I am on a host so I don't have root permissions and of course the tech folks are hesitant
about installing Net::SLLeay so I am working on a local install of it.
I do have it there locally and it seems to work with out errors, only it will not process a
transaction via make_form() or post_https()
So I keep getting the "Document Contained No Data" errors from my CGI code.
I talked briefly to a guy that had a working interface to Authorize.net with SSLeay and both
the new version 3.0 and the older 2.0 with .asp . His interface is dated 9-99 but his last
response to me which was my second EMail to him was "Maybe some day I will write a book on
installing Modules"....well just GREAT!!! and life goes on.....
Like you I have scarce or even sparse info regarding this type of interface. I'm pretty much a
novice, I'll admit to it but I have a will to learn and can figure things out if I can get
some info on it. But alas, not even Authorize.net has any examples of working code other than
the WebLink method......right now I am searching for morsels.
Back to SSLeay, I also couldn't get it installed locally if I didn't comment out the line
bootstrap...... for some reason every time I put "use Net::SSLeay" if that line was not
commented out it would Server 500 error.
Of course not one bit of info on what the bootstrap is for nor can I find anything in any of
my 5 perl books...
Right now I feel like I would "Give an Arm and a Leg" for just enough info to get me over this
hill.
If you or anyone else has a snippet or could help I know I would sincerely appreciate it.
Maybe we can work this out together.
Thanks,
Wes
