I'm still having problems with it but I'm at the point where I think I
can handle 95% of customer needs without too much hassle.

Most times the problems, from what I've seen, comes from a failure to
properly grasp how the system works. This is understandable though as,it
seems to me, you need a pretty good perl foundation to use minivend
properly. The way I look at it minivend is more like an abstraction of
perl routines. I've been hacking on perl for something like 5 years now
so its probably a little easier for me. However, minivend does have a
steep learning curve. I feel that this could be helped by:
a) Better documentation
The existing documentation is good but room exists for improvement.
b) A cookbook (code fragments to solve common problems and tasks)
I know there was talk of both at some point but I guess its passed.

So are you saying that PHP doesn't have tags or that its just easier for
you to learn? I don't know as I've never looked at php. What sort of
coding background do you have?
