I don't know how a typical user could expire a session. That
is initiated on the system side. More likely the user is
initiating a new session. Are you sure about the "expire" part?
Maybe it's a new feature with which I'm unfamiliar.
If it is an issue of a new session, you should start by
checking your web server logs in detail. Look for indications
of multiple windows, going back, proxies and caches (to start).
