i've experienced the problem myself many times also. i
haven't opened a new window or hit the back button or
anything weird. the session id simply changes mid site. it
happens on every page in the site. it doesn't seem to matter
how long a visitor has been there or how many pages. i wish
i had one thing that was not random, but i haven't found one
yet.
