Well, I tried changing the MINIMATE variable to 0 in minivend.cfg,
and then restarted, and nothing changes.  

The "[title-bar 500 4]Create an account at [/title-bar]" stuff continues
to appear.

Any more ideas anyone?

I have had the same problem, [title-bar] is an usertag which gets only
included when MINIMATE in minivend.cfg is set to 0, but this is set to 1
by default...
