[mv] SessionDBM

****** message to minivend-users from "Ron Phipps" <takedown@cdsnet.net> ******

Hello,

Were working on getting the final touches put on our first Minivend site.
First I'd like to say that I've learned a ton over the last 3 weeks and I'm
starting to feel comfortable working with Minivend. For anyone that is
starting on a project, don't give up... it's cool when you get the hang of
it.

On to my question. I have been working with the Minivend+Signio interface
and it looks like we are ready to go live. Over the last week though we
have ran into this error message when viewing a reciept for a successful
order:

"Data was not stored in SessionDBM"

This appears at the bottom of the page. I checked out the Session
directives in the catalog.cfg and there were none set. Does Minivend
default to the File Type sessions if no session type is defined? When I put
in GDBM as the type of sessions the error went away. Is there a known
reason why the File type of sessions produces this error? At the suggestion
of a minivend list reader I installed the latest "Storable" module and the
problem was still found when using the File type of sessions. I would like
to use the File type since it is supposed to be the fastest.

Thanks for your help!
-Ron
