[mv] 2 problems with subcatalogs

Hello group,
	I am trying to implement a mall with subcatalogs. I have a main
products database and a subcat_products database with additional items.
Two questions:

1- Why do I have to repeat the directive 'Database products ...' in
subcat.cfg (If I don't, only the subcat_products will be searched, even
if I specify 'ProductFiles subcat_products products' in subcat.cfg)?
Shouldn't it be inherited from the main catalog? Isn't that the purpose
of subcatalogs?

2- [item-price] and [item-subtotal] don't work for the items in
subcat_products (they are set to 0). I put the appropriate entries in
pricing for these items so quantity pricing does work. The way to
'solve' this is to specify 'PriceField price'. However, when I do that
quantity pricing doesn't work anymore, argggg :)
