I have a question regarding the [if] tag in Minivend 4.04.

I have a loop stepping through a file, and I would like to do a conditional
on a value in the current iteration.  The loop variable I want to check is
named "box-code".  If I just put [box-code] in the file and view it, it
displays the value correctly.  However, when I try to use [if] to find out
if the variable is equal to the string 'Categories', nothing happens.  I've
tried ever variant of the if statement that I can think of, eg: [if value
box-code="Categories"], [if box-code="Categories"], [if
[box-code]="Categories"], [if box-code =~ m/Categories/], et al.  I would
appreciate any help -- the documents aren't helping me much.
