Re: [mv] Custom Shirts

Victor,

I don't have an example (of multiple page attribute setting)
, but it really should not be to difficult.
Just use different modifiers for size, color, style, design,
custom_lettering_front, and custom_lettering_back etc.

Then set up a CommonAdjust based on style and custom_lettering_front
and custom_lettering_back to change the price according to the number
of characters (I assume that is how the pricing would go) and also based
on "style" (separate "attribute" for the text, which you could then
use perl or calc to determine the number of letters to apply to
the custom_lettering_* attributes)

The real trick is if she really insists on wanting a different page to set
each attribute.... I can think of a few ways to do it for example pull
up the item and get the first attribute, then have the form post to the
second page for the next attribute and set the previous attributes in
hidden forms (instead of adding it to the cart) until the last page
"puts it in the basket" with all attributes....

or "build the shirt" in a second
cart so that you don't have to track the attributes through each
page and then add it to the main cart when ready....

or save the attributes
in the scratch space until the last page... etc

These were just off of the top of my head, but they give you some ideas.

Hope this helps,
Kyle (KC)

PS The only "REALLY DIFFICULT" designs, are when you have to make
the site "smarter" than the client ;-)
