These are good articles.
However, I would say that it doesn't *too* much apply to Minivend. The
referential integrity for Minivend is supplied by the application.
It has a fair record with that within its limitations.
I personally like the idea of using Postgres or Oracle for the
orderline/transaction/userdb tables, and MySQL for everything else.
This gives you the speed for the frequently accessed things, and
the referential integrity for the things which can use them.
