[mv] Changing Fieldnames in USERDB

We want our UserDB to be a table running on an InterBase SQL Server.
The fieldname password is protected, so we can't use it. We changed
the fieldname to passwrd. How do we have to change the catalog config
in order to use the field passwrd and not password?
We tried:
UserDB default password passwrd
But without success. When creating a new account the error password and
verify pass don't match occurs. When logging in the error

/usr/local/mvend/lib/Vend/Table/DBI.pm line 470.
occurs. Running MVend 4.03 on Linux.
