[mv] Interchange user tracking feature - Track.pm
****** message to minivend-users from "Kevin Walsh" <kevin@cursor-software.co.uk> ******
I have to say well done for adding the user tracking facility
to Interchange. That's one facility that I've been missing for
some time, and now it's there.
Just one thing though. After some time, and a number of
visitors, I can see the size of the TrackFile file getting out
of hand. Would it not be simpler to store this information in
a database table, where "old" records can be expired or deleted.
It would also make it simpler to perform some more complex analysis
on the collected data, using SQL queries and the other tools.
Perhaps this is something that you may want to add to the wishlist
as an optional facility, or am I missing something here?
Thanks again. I've installed Interchange over my 4.04 release
(with a strategic backup first :-) and it's all working just as
it did before. Perfect. I was worried for a while back there.
